Kagiso Maleka

Kagiso Maleka became a member of the Johannesburg Bar in April 2026, following her tenure at the Tshwane Society of Advocates (TSA). She began her advocacy journey at the Pretoria Bar, where she completed her pupillage in 2018. Prior to entering private practice, she held several key legal and regulatory roles in government and professional bodies. These included serving as assistant director in the legal, corporate governance and compliance unit at the Department of Trade and Industry. Held the position of Registrar at the South African Council for Town Planners. She also managed the continuing legal education at the Black Lawyers Association.
